About Us
We Are Honeyroots
How can we make a difference?
Most of the beekeepers lack the skillset to spread the awareness of raw honey as we do, they might be excellent beekeepers but majority of their profit goes to the traders and the commercial companies who purchase honey from them due to a very low demand of honey in India.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to promote sustainable and healthy work environment among farmers and beekepers by making end products which meets consumers demand and provides lucarative business for all the workers in this profession and spread awarness about natural honey.
TRIBAL HARVESTING HONEY
India produces more than a hundred thousand tons of
honey and a lot of which comes from tribal people. Due to
the lack of sophisticated beekeeping methods thousands of
honeybees’ colonies die at their hands which is a major blow
to the nature as bees are responsible for more than 70% of
crops of the world. We can educate those people about
beekeeping which would not only save the bees but also
help them to harvest more honey using the right methods.
We can also help them sell the honey at a better price.
BEEKEEPER INSPECTING THE
HEALTH OF HIS BEES
There’s a pretty simple way to look at it,
fewer the beekeepers, fewer the
employment and fewer the bees which
results in decline in the pollination of the
crops which not only harms the farmers
pockets but also each and every
individual who goes out to buy or eat any
kind of food.
